RBC Life Review - A Closer Look at RBC Life's Opportunity
RBC Life is a wellness company headquartered out of Irving, Texas. For the last 20 years, the company has focused on providing dermatological solutions using aloe. They also provide a network marketing opportunity for their products to interested representatives.
This is a brief review of the company - who they are, what they do, and whether this could be a potentially lucrative opportunity or not.
The Company
RBC Life provides nutritional supplements and body care products. Over 20 years ago, in the 1980's, founder Clinton Howard began looking at the health benefits of aloe - a plant that's been used for centuries to cure things like common sunburns, amongst others.
Howard formed a team to isolate the active ingredient in aloe, and then put that ingredient in a variety of skincare and health products. It took four years, and $20 million dollars to get the proper information, but the company now sells a line of over 75 products that are based around that research.
This company is a bit different from others in health and wellness because of their accreditations. Most network marketing companies that offer a type of wellness solution are based on vitamins and minerals that haven't been scientifically proven to "cure" anything - rather, they are just good for overall wellness. RBC Life belongs to accreditation organizations like the BBB, has Certified Organic products, and Vegan Certified as well.
The RBC Life Opportunity
There are 3 ways to purchase RBC Life's products. First, they will take on retail customers straight from their website. Then, there are "Preferred Customers" who can get 10-20% off of retail price just by signing up, and applying for auto-ship services. Finally, there are "Associates" which are people interested in joining the MLM opportunity. Associates get all products at wholesale price (20% off of retail) and get access to the back office (free for the first year, $7.95 per month after that) and a lot of other bonuses typically given in these types of opportunities - bonuses, trips, expense accounts, etc.
Is RBC Life For You?
RBC Life offers higher quality products than many other network marketing opportunities. They have a lot of accreditations, and although their products are spread out amongst a range of cures (healthy living, anti aging, energy and fitness, specific needs) they appear to be legitimate. One big complaint with the company, though, is the fact that their commission rate is so low - meaning their wholesale prices are too high. Reps have to sell a lot of volume to do well.
At the end of the day, though, the most important thing for new reps to know is that you have to know how to market products like these before you start in on an opportunity.
Most people begin by leveraging their "warm market" and contacting family and friends to join in on a great opportunity. But that's the wrong way to go about it - this warm market will fizzle, and reps are usually left frustrated.
It's crucial to learn how to use the internet to start building downlines and really making money from opportunities like RBC Life. Luckily, there are many places to learn and start building your business toolkit for RBC Life success.
